Hi, I'm April.

My path into wellness began with my own health. When conventional answers fell short, I turned to whole foods, herbal medicine, and holistic healing and I have studied them ever since. About twenty years ago I started Logical Wellness to share what I'd learned, hosting home wellness parties across Ventura and Los Angeles Counties. We taught friends and neighbors to read labels, sprout seeds, and fit more real food into busy lives. When I moved to San Diego, Logical Wellness came with me, and the parties found a new home in San Diego County kitchens.

Since then I've built a formal foundation under that passion. Most recently, I earned a Master of Science in Nutrition from Liberty University, graduating with High Distinction and a perfect 4.0 GPA. My graduate study covered nutritional biochemistry, nutrition research, diabetes and obesity, and nutrition across the life cycle. Before that, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences (Healthy Lifestyles & Fitness Science) from Arizona State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. I completed an NBHWC-approved coaching program and passed the national board exam to become a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach. I also earned a Medical Cannabis Care Certificate from Pacific College of Health and Science.

I'm also a longtime homeschooling parent and educator, and that shows in how I work: I teach. My goal is for you to understand your body well enough to make confident choices on your own.

Anything else just seems… illogical.
